Denver Broncos and their Place in Professional Football History

The Denver Broncos hold a unique place in the history of American professional football; they were the first team to ever win an American Football League (AFL) game in 1960, and the very first AFL team to win over an NFL team in 1967. With these achievements, it is no wonder that the team is one of the most-watched in the NFL. Denver Broncos tickets give fans the chance to possibly become part of the history in the making, which is not that far-fetched where the Broncos are concerned.

The Road to Success

The Denver Broncos achieved their first winning season in 1973, after struggling for the first 13 years of its franchise. They had their first Super Bowl win in the 1997 season (Super Bowl XXXII), besting the Green Bay Packers. The following season, the team achieved a repeat performance and bagged the championship for Super Bowl XXXIII. Aside from the Super Bowl wins, the Broncos boast of six conference and 10 division championships. Denver Broncos tickets are hard to find, proof of the fans’ unending support.

Sold-Out Broncos Games

Since 1999, the Broncos only had two losing seasons – 1999 and 2007. In 2009, the team won an amazing season opener over the Cincinnati Bengals, led by their new quarterback Kyle Orton. All of the team’s home games were successfully sold out (except for two replacement games in 1987); grab your Denver Broncos tickets before others can get to the last few ones! Be a part of the team’s achievements, as they continue to conquer the competitive world of American professional football.
